The short version
We collect the minimum data needed to send you what you bought and follow up on your order. We don't sell your info to anyone. We use industry-standard tools (Stripe for payments, Klaviyo for email, GA4 + Meta Pixel for analytics) — each one is covered below.
What we collect
- Account & order data: name, email, shipping address, phone (optional), order history.
- Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
- Analytics data: page views, clicks, browser type, device type, IP (anonymized). Collected via Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel.
- Marketing data: email open and click rates (Klaviyo) for newsletter recipients.
- Cookies: small files stored in your browser for analytics, cart persistence, and ad attribution. You can disable in your browser settings.
How we use it
- Fulfill and ship orders.
- Send transactional emails (receipt, shipping, refund).
- Send marketing emails (only if you opted in — unsubscribe in every email).
- Improve the site (which pages convert, which products get traffic).
- Run paid ads on Meta and Google to people similar to existing customers.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that need it to run the business:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Klaviyo — email marketing
- Google (GA4) — analytics
- Meta — ad attribution via Meta Pixel
- Shipping carriers (USPS, etc.) — to deliver your order
- Fulfillment partners — to pack and ship
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone except as listed above.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the data we hold on you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Unsubscribe from marketing at any time
- Opt out of cookie-based tracking (browser settings)
California (CCPA) and EU (GDPR) residents have additional statutory rights — email privacy@cozypaw.com to exercise them.
Children
CozyPaw is for adults buying pet products. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be emailed to subscribers.
